How do I pay to join?
Payments are made through our secure booking page. A deposit is required to hold your cabin, with final payment due by the stated deadline. You’ll receive reminders as payments are due. Partial payment options are available - please inquire.
ARE PAYMENTS REFUNDABLE
All payments toward this cruise event are 100% non-refundable once made. For this reason, travel protection is highly recommended to help protect your investment in case plans change.
Do you recommend travel protection?
Yes. We strongly recommend travel protection to cover unexpected events such as illness, travel delays, or other emergencies. Please see the Allianz link for a quote or obtain on your own.
Where does the cruise depart from?
The cruise sails from Los Angeles, a well-connected and easy-to-navigate embarkation port. Many guests choose to arrive early to enjoy the city. Please watch event updates as we may add an event in San Diego.
Should I arrive early before the cruise?
Yes. We recommend arriving the day before embarkation to allow for any travel delays and to start your getaway relaxed and ready to board.
Do I need a passport?
Yes. All guests will need a valid passport for travel, even on round-trip cruises from U.S. ports. Passports must be valid through may 16th, 2027 (six months post travel.)
What kind of activities can I expect onboard?
We are planning a Cookie Crew meet n' greet and a social gathering onboard the ship.
Can I book shore excursions?
Yes! Shore excursions can be booked directly through the cruise line or through Venture Ashore, a trusted third-party provider that offers a guaranteed return to the ship.

Is there a dress code onboard?
Whatever the itinerary, destination, or occasion—when you pack, think casual chic.
DURING THE DAY
Shore Excursions & Port Days:For warmer destinations like Ensenada, pack swimsuits and cover-ups, breathable shorts and tops, sundresses, and lightweight pants. A light sweater or jacket is helpful for breezy days or evenings. Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are always recommended.
Choose comfortable walking shoes for exploring ports, and consider water shoes or excursion-specific gear depending on your plans. If visiting cultural or historic sites, modest attire (covered shoulders or longer bottoms) may be appropriate.
Onboard – Daytime:Life onboard Serenade of the Seas is comfortably casual. Throughout the ship, you’ll see guests in resort-style attire such as sundresses, shorts, polos, casual tops, and button-downs, paired with sandals, sneakers, or loafers.
Poolside attire includes swimsuits with cover-ups, T-shirts or tanks, hats, and sunglasses. If you plan to enjoy the fitness center, rock-climbing wall, or mini golf, don’t forget activewear and athletic shoes.
Dining & Evenings Onboard:Smart Casual (Most Evenings)
Smart Casual is the standard for main dining rooms, specialty dining, and evening entertainment. This means neat, relaxed outfits such as dresses, skirts, long pants or jeans with a nice top, or collared shirts.
Swimsuits, bare feet, tank tops, flip-flops, baseball caps, or see-through cover-ups are not permitted in dining venues.

Yes. Smoking (including e-cigarettes and vapes) is permitted only in designated smoking areas. Smoking is not allowed in staterooms, on balconies, or in most indoor spaces. Click here for more information.
Do I have to participate in group activities?
Not at all. Join in when you want, relax when you don’t — there’s no pressure.
How will I know what’s happening each day?
Daily schedules are available through the ship’s app and onboard screens. You’ll see dining options, entertainment, port times, and Race the Waves group agenda will be provided prior to the cruise.
