I enjoy, for the most part, all seasons in Wisconsin. Our winters can be brutal and as biker there is a deeper appreciation for the summer! While I love to travel and explore outside of Wisconsin, summer is my time to discover my own state. I recently participated in a group ride (through my local H.O.G. chapter) exploring parts of the Great Mississippi River Road and State parks. I belong to the Rock River H.O.G. Chapter #3276. We are a very active group and love to ride, discovering and sometimes rediscovering our own backyard. Our committee, "Rock Wisconsin", is a group of amazing volunteers, curate rides and work through all the details. These rides can be a day ride, one or more overnighters. What's truly awesome, I don't have to work, I let others do the work and I am free to just be a traveler...enjoying the road and the camaraderie. On this four day trip we stayed in three different cities, stopped at numerous state parks and rode about 1,000 miles. Share the knowledge
